Hey karaoke fans.

Those of you who like to belt out a number here and there can feel free to drop a few titles that you've recently done.  You didn't have to necessarily do them well, it doesn't matter to me.  Tell me where you sang it if you like, and who went with you or if you were 3 sheets to the wind.

Hey classic arcade fiends.

What we do here is pick one game at a time we loved at the old arcade (back in either the '70s, '80s or '90s; no less, no later) that we liked to play over and over again.  It didn't have to be your absolute favorite, it could be just one you really liked.  Maybe do a little backstory on where specifically you frequented to play this machine, what year, how old you were, how much allowance you pumped into it, yada yada.  What did you like about it most, do you own it today in some shape or form, etc.

I'll start:

MOUSETRAP C 1981 Exidy

My sister and I both loved this game.. strange concept though.  You play a mouse moving around a maze eating cheese and avoiding the cats.  After eating a dog bone (!) you can change into a dog (!!) and eat the cats (!!!).  A hawk attacks here and there that will kill either the mouse OR the dog (!!!!).  Told you it was strange!  But the music and sound effects REALLY drew me in.  I now have it emulated on my cpu.

What grade would you give for the team at this point of the season, and why?

Keep in mind this grade can be updated if you like, as the season progresses.  You could give an A one week, then an A- if the team takes a dive suddenly.  Hope I didn't jinx us...

I'd say at this point, an A- .  They obviously are looking great at first place in the AFC East, but if the running game were more productive and Hardy was able to contribute more, then we would be even better.  Plus, the run defense suffered a bit at times this year, and the D suffered in all phases vs. the Cardinals.  But other than that we have been terrific.

Trent Edwards is far and away the team's MVP.  One of the greater third-round QBs in recent memory.

Hey embittered sports fans.

Here is your chance to vent your anger towards all those referees that changed the course of a game by either looking the other way, swallowing their whistle, or calling a really lame foul/turnover/penalty.  It could be something that a team still overcame, or it could be a call/non-call that clearly determined the outcome of the game (don'tcha just HATE that!).  You see the coaches fly off their seats and let the ref/ump know under no uncertain terms that they are not happy with the call, and you want to join them.

Here's the place to discuss the absolute most BONEHEADED plays you had the pleasure of witnessing.  And man oh man, have there been some doozies.

One of my faves was Leon Lett showboating in a blowout win vs. the Bills in SB XXVII.  In what seemed to be a breakaway TD, he stuck the ball out to his side and danced his way towards the end zone as Don Beebe put on the afterburners and knocked the ball out of his hand and it rolled out of the endzone for a touchback, not a touchdown.  Take that!
